Foreign Secretary David Milliband spoke to the Fabian Society on the challenge of engaging citizens on foreign policy issues.
The main aim of the Press and Public Diplomacy (PPD) section is to promote a positive image of the United Kingdom and its policies in Lebanon. We do this in a variety of ways, including the tried and tested means of press releases, publications, publicity materials, radio and TV interviews by various members of the British Embassy in Lebanon. We deal with all enquiries from journalists as well as members of the general public.

During a visit to Mali, Foreign Office Minister Ivan Lewis announced that the UK will be re-opening its Embassy.
