Chevening Scholarship for 2010-2011

The British Embassy in Lebanon has launched the Chevening Scholarship programme for the academic year 2010-2011. The programme is to enable Lebanese and Palestinian nationals (Palestinians residing in Lebanon) to undertake postgraduate study in the UK.

In the run-up to Copenhagen, IndyAct in partnership with the British Embassy in Beirut launched on Saturday 24th of October the 'green carpet' premiere of 'The Age of Stupid', a British drama-documentary-animation film about climate change.
